Joël Onorato is a French-Italian architect and structural engineer. After a few years of practice in France on bridge design, mixed-use buildings and urban design, he has worked on multi-family, office and community buildings in the DC area while working at Hickok Cole Architects. He then worked at StudioMB designing an elementary school. He currently runs his own practice, Joel Onorato Workshop. In parallel to his practice, he has taught studio, structural design, architecture theory, as well as lectured on building reuse and the circular economy in professional settings.
