Both first-time applicants and transfer applicants will use the Common Application.



Portfolios

A portfolio may be submitted but is not required for those students applying to Catholic University's B.S. Arch. program from high school. If you want to be considered for admission as a transfer student to the B.S. Arch. program, you are no longer required to submit a portfolio of your design coursework and other creative work.

Visit Crough Center for Architectural Studies

The Catholic University School of Architecture and Planning is located in the heart of Washington D.C., steps from the Brookland-CUA Metrorail station. We strongly encourage interested undergraduate students and their parents to visit our school. Our unique, state-of-the-art facility, The Crough Center for Architectural Studies, offers aspiring architecture students a best-of-both worlds experience:

  • the safety and park-like beauty of our 176-acre residential campus in the vibrant Brookland neighborhood.
